タスクが多いため、それらに優先度をつけましょう。

今週の優先事項は何ですか？

We need to prioritize completing the project report this week.
今週はプロジェクト報告書の作成を優先する必要があります。

タスクの優先順位を表すための表現を示します。

最優先は「top」で表します。第一優先ということで、「first」も可能です。

This task is our top priority and must be completed by tomorrow.
このタスクは最優先であり、明日までに完了する必要があります。

優先度を高中低で表すならば、「high」「middle」「low」となります。「first」「second」「third」も可能です。

The marketing campaign is a high-priority project for this quarter.
マーケティングキャンペーンは今四半期の高優先度のプロジェクトです。

While this is a middle-priority task, we should aim to finish it by the end of the month.
これは中程度の優先度のタスクですが、月末までに終わらせることを目指しましょう。

The website redesign is a low-priority task, so we can work on it after the main projects.
ウェブサイトの再設計は低優先度のタスクなので、主要なプロジェクトの後に取り組めば大丈夫です。

成功や失敗に直結するほど重大で緊急であることを表します。

システムエラーの修正は、本日中に完了しなければならない重要なタスクです。

成功や失敗に大きな影響を及ぼすほど重要であることを表します。

Finalizing the budget proposal is crucial for the success of the upcoming project.
予算案の最終決定は、次期プロジェクトの成功にとって極めて重要です。

目標のために必要不可欠であることを表します。

Preparing the training materials is essential for the onboarding process.
トレーニング資料の準備は、新人研修プロセスにとって不可欠です。

緊急性があり、即座の対応が求められることを表します。

Responding to the client’s email is an urgent task that needs to be done within the next hour.
クライアントのメールへの返信は、1時間以内に対応が必要な緊急タスクです。

緊急性のあるタスクについては、即時対応が必要となります。以下に即時対応の表現を挙げます。

よりフォーマルで強い命令や指示のニュアンスがあります。

This issue needs to be addressed immediately.
この問題は即座に対応する必要があります。

命令というよりは、リクエストや提案のトーンが強いです。

Could you send me the document right away?
今すぐその書類を送っていただけますか？

緊急性を示しつつも、具体的な時間を指定しないため、相手に柔軟性を与える表現となります。

Please complete this task as soon as possible.
このタスクをできるだけ早く完了してください。
